Amanda Montgomery is a phlebotomist in the Gordon Hospital, Calhoun, Georgia and was just awarded the hospital’s prestigious Extra Mile Award.
The Extra Mile Award was created by the hospital’s Employee Engagement Committee and its purpose is to recognize employees that excel in their field, exceeding everyone’s expectations. The award is given to one employee every month who’s proven to be worthy of the honor.
Jennifer Wise, the director of Gordon Hospital’s Laboratory Services (where Amanda works as a phlebotomist) has only good words to say for Amanda:
“Amanda does an outstanding job in customer service and phlebotomy. I am so glad she is part of our team.”
Amanda deeply appreciated the fact she was chosen for the award:
